In a new chat Don Jazzy had with City People magazine, the ace music producer and boss of Mavin Records said that the so called 'issue' he had with his former business partner D'banj was created by fans of the Mo' Hits label and the media also.



"I keep saying that, the problem you guys think we had was caused by both the press and our fans, because we were alright. D Banj is working, I am working, we can meet up. We can gist, laugh and whatever" Don Jazzy told the soft sell magazine.



Stressing that there is no beef between the two of them, Don Jazzy said there is nothing stopping him from doing a song with D'banj.

AY Makun Reveals Where He Gets His Jokes From

One of the funniest men on the continent, AY Makun, has disclosed where he gets all his jokes from.



In a recent interview the '30 Days In Atlanta' star said his wife, Mabel Makun gives him inspiration for his jokes.



"You see, to my wife, I am not a comedian. She is even more of the comedian. Because, most of the materials that I use, sometimes, she inspires them," said AY Makun. "There are times that I even talk about her. We laugh everywhere. And there are ways to make her laugh in bed" he also added.



AY who shut down his MVP Lounge in Lekki in May will be re-opening it soon.
According to sources the award winning actor will re-open the lounge on Independence Day, October 1st.



This time around AY will not be involved in the every day operation of the club.
In his Encomium interview back in May AY said he did not shut down the club because of low patronage.



"It's not as if MVP has closed down business for good" said AY. "We want to bring in fresh hands to run the place. For us it's better to close our doors for a while and restrategise than things to get wrong. We need better and able hands to run the lounge" he further said.



In the interview he also said that he is bringing in a professional from the Arabian gulf to work in the lounge.

In a recent chat with City People magazine, Don Jazzy revealed the secret behind his hit songs.
When asked if he has the Midas touch, the super famous producer said he doesn't know about the Midas touch but he understands the market.



In his words: –



"I don't know about the Midas touch, but I think what it is, is that, I understand the market first, I also understand people to a large extent, the common problem with people in the industry is not really understanding the individuals they deal with, either the artiste or their staffs, I run a very beautiful organization where everyone is friends. We are family, I don't come and start using veto power, because I am the boss, the greatest idea might come from the little guy there.



"So I listen to everybody and it works. As for music I try to experiment sometimes, but I don't go out of the box to say I want to over experiment in a way that it is not what people want. If it is akara that you want to sell, it's the akara that you will sell.



You don't have to start putting jam inside akara. Then it's not akara anymore, it is something else, the least you can do is to put small pepper to taste, you cannot now go over outside the box and say you want to put your name on top of the akara and stuffs like that. Over the years there has been the kind of music Nigerians like. This is the kind of music my mother and my father dances to and their friends too, then we just stick to the formula and it works for us"

Smart Tips To Cope With A Nagging Wife

You can never fully get to know each other enough, if after marriage you will keep on getting to know what your likes, dislikes and interests are EVERYDAY. Most times when a woman nags, it's basically to vent out the frustration they feel and they expect you to understand this, at least most times if not every time.

Here are few tips to aid you in coping with a nagging wife.

What is She On About?
Women nag about certain discomforts they feel, either it's about the fact that you didn't clear the plates after she spent hours cooking the meal or you missed a really important appointment.

Either way you need to find out what's causing the displeasure and patiently address it. If it's an apology, offer it and if it's to help out more, you both should reach a compromise and create a schedule for it if need be. Gone are the days when women keep up the house all by themselves.

Abusive Words
You do not want to aggravate the situation so best leave the bitter harsh words out. The temptation is always there but it is best to cool off some heat by walking away and addressing the issue much later when she has calm down.

Stand your ground
Most times this can be effective. Don't give her space all the time to flare up at you and you walk out or not say anything. Standing your ground helps stop the nagging sometimes. This can be most effective if she is going on about trivial things that are not to be bothered about. This is however not advised when she's bitter about your relationship, then you would have to talk things through and make her understand whatever it is to help her calm down. Women are delicate, treat them as such.

Ignore her
This can be very annoying to your partner but it does the trick. Ignoring her as if she wasn't even flaring up in the first place or draw up an imaginary hula dancer in your head and letting her know what she looks like when she's upset lightens the situation and ends up in you both having a much needed laugh afterwards.

Distract her
Wanna find a lasting solution to your wife's nagging? Then distract her, when you've done something wrong and she's most likely gonna talk about it. Even before she opens her mouth compliment her dress, the style pattern of the fabric or even her 2 week old hair. This will shut her up, and when she does bring up the issue it will be on a much lighter note. What can i say, women love being complimented. This does not mean you should mess up at every turn. :)

Support Her
Don't wait to hear her say the words, support what she does. This doesn't mean you should hold back on your reservation. Speak up and speak out but still be that shoulder she can lean on at any time. A flirty note while she's at work or a hug before she leaves for the office or even a kiss goes a long way and drives home the message.

Couple Time
Aside from getting time away from your usual routine, this also serves as an avenue for you both to talk about things in your relationship, things you don't get to talk about on a regular basis. It keeps your relationship ever fresh. Reconnect with your partner and look for other interests together as a couple. This is the secret to a nag free marriage.

Been patient with your spouse is very important in a relationship, be it a committed union like marriage or not. Most women have a valid reason for flaring, take time to listen to her before it escalates and she gets tagged a Nagging Spouse.
